I was doing some research on the best buffet this week and realised that well I have been to several buffets already...
Some of the places that I have tried to date
1. Marriott Cafe
This was one of my first buffet that I went while in JC days.
At that time, buffet at Marriott was expensive for a student...
I have been here more than 3 times at least. Of which, 2 was during their Christmas spread.
And this was the first place when I splurged close to 80 bucks for the Christmas Eve dinner.
Will I come again?

Their dessert spread is very good, both quality and variety i.e. there are two different sets of desserts served during buffet.
I love their Christmas spread as well.
2. Ellenborough @ Merchant Court
Still remembered searching in forums for nice buffet places during my university years as well.
This was supposedly very value for money buffets.
Been here several times, as well as their crab buffet season.

I love the durian pengat as I can savour the durians without having to get my hands dirty. =P
3. Straits Kitchen @ Hyatt
Tried both their lunch and dinner during my university days.
They have a wide variety of Malay, Indian, Chinese food.
Will I come again?

Nothing against it just that I would prefer to try out other buffet places...
4. Oscars @ Conrad
We started having our annual birthday celebrations here in the recent years as they served Boston lobsters on specific days of the week.
Will I come again?
Comments
They have revised their prices up and no longer serve Boston lobsters anymore.
Doubt I will be there since the highlight is gone...
5. The Line @ Shangri-La
Went during their birthday celebrations this year.
It is the longest line in Singapore and is quite pricey.
Will I come again?

I wasn't very impressed though.
Maybe there was so much hoo-ha about it being the longest spread and hence have had pretty high expectations of what it would be.
Was quite disappointed.
6. Cafe Brio @ Grand Copthorne Waterfront
Brought my cousin and her boyfriend during their recent trip to Singapore.
It was during Chinese New Year and I must say they have a very good spread.
Will I come again?
Comments
Definitely. Would love to try the buffet spread again as we did not manage to try everything the last time round.
7. Global Kichen @ Pan Pacific
Tried the buffet spread recently.
They have very weird layout The buffet areas are at obscure corners of the restaurants. For example, you find the starters at some room, while the main dishes are well-positioned. And at one corner beside is the remaining dishes.
They serve a variety of tea but limited desserts, about 6 to 7 types only.
Will I come again?
Comments
I do not like the layout of the place and the limited spread. They have the smallest dessert spread amongst all the places that I have been to.
