We were invited to the 2011 World Gourmet Summit for the Spanish Gala Dinner Featuring The Cuisine of David Muñoz & Ramón Freixa. David Munoz is a one star Michelin chef while Ramon Freixa is a two star Michelin chef.
Really looking forward to WGS every year.
Definitely the event to pamper yourself to good food and nice ambience!
The Spanish Gala Dinner is at SGD 288+ per person.

The first dish - Lamb and carrot dim sum kumquats, black garlic aioli and trout roe

Second Dish - It is called Tomato Research - Tomato salad with olive oil – cold tomato soup, oyster tomato puff pastry and “jamon” – a whole smoked roast tomato.
I like this innovative tomato dish - one tomato cooked different ways bring out different flavours in it.

The speaker is Bodegas Torres Bruno Jimenez. He brought in the Torres wine that I liked.
Third dish - tuna belly braised in a charcoal smoked curry guanabana milk, black sesame and tomburi
