Removal of my other wisdom tooth...

I have just removed my wisdom tooth on Monday.

Can't eat any more food till Saturday (that's when my stitches are removed)...
I can only update my blog on the reviews prior to my extraction.

Been eating porridge for the whole day since Monday....
Sigh....

Chatterbox @ Mandarin Hotel

Went for the famous $25 dollars chicken rice at Mandarin.

As Mandarin Hotel was going through a revamp, Chatterbox was moved to the Observatory Lounge at the 38th floor...

Sauces - dark sauce, chilli sauce and ginger sauce. All three sauces are great!

Soup

Rice - There's free flow of rice

Chicken - one can choose to have thigh or drumstick

Laksa - There's 3 huge prawns and scallops in this dish.

My Ramblings...

Used to patronize Mandarin Hotel since young.

Although their chicken rice and laksa are the most expensive in Singapore (hawker price would be approximately $5 dollars), the quality of the food is very good.

For the chicken rice, the chicken is succulent and the rice is not oily.
As for the laksa, the ingredients used makes the price worth it.

Kim Gary @ Vivocity

Went to Kim Gary for tea during the weekend.
Despite being HK restaurant, Kim Gary originated from KL.

Yuan Yang - This is a combination of coffee and tea...

Condensed milk and butter thick toast

Wanton Noodle

Baked cheese with mushrooms

Baked cheese with pork chop and rice

Baked potato

My Ramblings...

Would love to try more of their dishes if we aren't having the $25 bucks chicken rice for dinner.

Nevertheless, will try their other food another time!!

My Ramblings...

Crystal Jade was never my preferred choice for dim sum because of its BBQ buns. The dough used wasn't very good, unlike Tung Lok.

Their vinegar pig trotters was nothing great. There was nothing inside, except for skin and ginger. Disappointing though...

My Moo Minicards are here....

Have received my Moo Minicards from Food Buzz..

Interesting cards... with delicious food printed on the name cards.

This place is very crowded during lunch time... Business is very good and the ducks typically get sold out by lunch time.

Cabbage - Soft and tasty. Love this dish despite being a non-veggie lover...

Definitely worth the visit.

My Ramblings...

The food was nothing fantastic and the queue was slow.

The coleslaw was too watery.
And, the mashed potato was not my style as it had a tinge of curry flavour.
As for the biscuits, was a bit disappointed as it wasnt what I had initially expected. Did not expected it to bread within a biscuit...

Nevertheless, will give the chicken another go first.
Hopefully, it will be good.
