Rendezvous - Straits Cafe Dinner Buffet

Went to Straits Cafe for their dinner buffet on Saturday. 

Fresh Salmon Sashimi

They serve a good selection of seafood, namely:

Oysters

Prawns

Long Leg Crabs

Scallops

Ultra huge prawns

Crayfish

They have assorted curries - Fish, Chicken, Lamb etc

which goes well with Roti Prata

Laksa

Desserts

And of course, their famous durian selection

Coffee and tea are included. There's teh tarik too!

My Ramblings...
The most value for money buffet in Singapore.
This is also the place to bring foreigners to sample local cuisine.

Would recommend to try their dinner buffet rather than brunch.
Usually, the spread for brunch is better but in the case of Straits Cafe, this is the opposite.

As for the cost of the buffet, this is approximately SGD 45 per person.

From 18 to 30 October, Triple 3 is having their Hokkaido Buffet. 

Fresh Sashimi - Scallops, Salmon and Amaebi (Sweet Shrimp)

King Crab

Lobster Mentaiyaki

More cold dishes

Wagyu Beef with Black Truffle Sauce and Ham

Chawanmushi and Nabe

Robatayaki - Shisamo, Quail Eggs and Gingko Nuts

Kings Prawns Teppanyaki and Cream Cheese Croquette

Desserts time - Featuring Mochi, Red Bean Cake, Cheese Cake etc. 

Pumpkin Mousse

All these are at SGD 137 ++ per person

There is a 1 for 1 DBS/ POSB promotion on Mon to Thursday, excluding Fridays, weekends and eve of public holidays.

Definitely worth it, especially after the 1 for 1 promotion.
