My Ramblings...
The food at TCC is good.
Presentation is appetizing.

One observation about TCC (after trying out various branches in Singapore) - their restaurant operations is badly organized.

Regardless of which branch, when the place is semi packed, you will notice that the food/drink will take longer to arrive and service will deteriorate at that point.

A bit wasted as this can be rectified

Hokkaido Fair - Le Tao Cheese Cake & Milk Pudding

It was the last few days of Hokkaido Fair at Tampines.

And guess what... I got 60% discount for the Le Tao Cheese Cake.
It was originally at $42.
We almost decided to buy it when the fair was at Isetan Scotts.

It was having a promotion, i.e. buy one cake at $25 or buy 2 cakes and get 1 free.
Managed to find someone to split the cost for the latter promotion.

Could not resist and ended up buying milk pudding at $8.50.
There are no promotions for this but it taste good!

I am a happy girl!!!

Straits Cafe

I have always wanted to try the buffet at Rendezvous as I heard some good reviews about it.
Never really managed to try as we would usually go for Ritz in the end.

Had a gathering with university friends and we decided to give their Sunday Brunch a go.

The hotel is undergoing a major revamp.
But, the restaurant is completely packed.

Crab Legs - It was very tasty.

Prata

Different types of curries to pair with prata

There's egg station too

Kueh Pie Tee & Popiah (skip that as the popiah skin is free for all to tear)

Laksa

Durian desserts

Wafers

Assorted desserts

My Ramblings...
The buffet is worth the price.
There's a 3 for 2 promotion and we ended up paying approximately $33 per person.

The buffet lines features a good selection of local cuisine.
Also, they also serve seafood, i.e. oyster, crabs, mussels, clams, sashimi etc.
Perfect place to bring a tourist to try out most of the local favourites at one go.

Westlake

This is my favourite place.

Located at Queen's Road, it served zi char, in addition to the Braised Pork Belly in Steamed Bun.
In Singapore, zi char means that one can order different dishes to pair with noodles / rice.
Of course, sharing with a group of people is better as one can order more variety of dishes.

As there was only two of us, we could only order 3 dishes at max.
We ordered a small Hong Kong noodle.

My favourite! I ate three buns at one go!

Steamed tofu (with salted egg)

My Ramblings...
The food is delicious.
Usually, we will have the hong kong noodles as a takeaway.
It taste better when we have it there and then.
Oh ya, and its hong kong noodles contains char siew (yummy)!
