Prima Deli Revolving Restaurant

My Ramblings...
The food is good and the place is nostalgic.
Used to come here quite often when I was here.
Taking the lift 9th floor was the highlight when I was young.

I like their porridge as it is not those blended type.
The roast pork used in the chee cheong fun was the tasty type.

Todai

There were postings on Yahoo that Todai was one of the best buffets in Singapore.
Hence, here we are!

Todai was set up in 1985 in USA.
Then, in 1998, there was a restructuring by Mr Hans Kim and it started expanding to Asia, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Vietnam and then Singapore.

The buffet is at $58++ for adults and this is the same regardless for weekend lunch or dinner.

My Ramblings...
It is good for a buffet served in a restaurant.
Interesting concept.

Prata Place - Springleaf Garden - Part 1

Ordered the Egg Masala Thosai

Mushroom & Egg Prata

Coffee and Teh Tarik

My Ramblings...
The food was good.
The prata was hard and crispy and there were lots of curry provided.
The only problem is the operations was terrible.
The food was ready but the staff took a long time to serve them due to the crowd.
But, we will definitely come again.

They have interesting specialty pratas, like Mushroom & Cheese, Chicken Floss etc.

The Chocolate Bar @ Marina Bay Sands

Went to try out the The Chocolate Bar at The Club at Marina Bay Sands.
The Club is located at the 57th floor and you can enjoy the scenery.

The buffet starts from 8pm and ends at 12 midnight. It cost $38++ per person.

My Ramblings...
I am very impressed with the desserts and service provided.

The desserts were very well crafted, i.e. the chef combines various ingredients to bring out distinct flavours of each type of chocolate.

In terms of service, the service staff ensured that we were served at all times despite being seated outside. They even went the extra mile by taking note of whether we remembered to take the additional teaspoon from the buffet table. Really Superb service.

However, this is best to be enjoyed after dinner, rather than a substitute.

Finally, you can also enjoy the spectacular view of the SkyPark!

Skinny Pizza

Heard reviews on Skinny Pizza.
Hence, we decided to try it out.

We ordered the Signature Squid Ink Pizza with a Squid Ink Crust.

Wild Truffled Mushroom

Lobster Linguine

Even the takeaway box looks cool!

My Ramblings...

At least there is some cooking effort made for the thin crust pizza.
I love the squid ink pizza and the lobster linguine.
Yum Yum!

Luxurious Dinner @ Feng Shui Inn at Crockfords Hotel

I had the opportunity to be invited for a meal at Crockfords Hotel.
Feng Shui Inn is a fine dining Cantonese restaurant.

Apparently, this was also the place where there was an earlier saga on someone spending $1,200 on a sultan fish.

Well, I too enjoyed some finer things in life that I probably would not splurge on:
1. Mouse Garoupa - This is a prized fish in Hong Kong and it cost approximately $350/kg
2. Lobster Noodle - This cost approximately $450/kg and we had the 2kg lobster because the 1kg is not available.

Guess you can imagine how much the bill was?

This the waiting area outside the restaurant.

My Ramblings...
It was a very interesting experience.
I enjoyed myself and I feel pampered.
The food was prepared in a luxurious way.

But, I do not think I will come here again on my own.
It is a bit too indulgent.
