Sunday Brunch at Greenhouse

This is really one of the best buffets in Singapore -Vintage Champagne Brunch at the Greenhouse at Ritz Carlton.

The spread is awesome and it does not give you the feeling that the items served during buffets is mass produced.

Let me tell you why...

First, the spread is like twice the length of their normal buffet.

Second, there are 6 types of oysters served...

Third, there's two types of foie gras served - red wine and black pepper (those two on the left)

Fourth, there's free flow of champagne served.

And cocktail...

Fifth, their scallops are heavenly...

Sixth, boston lobsters are served

Seventh, their desserts are so sinful

And the final reason is...

This is the butter served...

My Ramblings...
I will definitely come back!
In fact, I would rather save up all my buffets for 1 big champagne brunch.. It is really worth it!
Hmmm.. Chihuly Lounge or St Regis next? =p

Boucheron Event

I loved Boucheron....
I have always been eyeing their macaron rings, which has been featured in the first few pages of fashion magazines for quite some time.

The event was held at Ion Orchard by Harper's Bazzar. The dress attire for the night was Flirty Feminine Flair

Tried the Tentation Macaron rings as well. I love the bitten macarons with its filling of jewels. There are many colours available, depending on the stones used, i.e. green tsavorite, orange sapphire, deep purple amethyst, rich red rubies and dark brown diamonds. This supposedly represents the flavours of pistachio, lemon, violet, rose and chocolate.

The price of these rings varies depending on the size (there are two sizes) and stones used, the price ranges from 7k to 20k or so.

This is my favourite ring... =)

The following desserts were serve at the event.

Aint they lovely? Cupcakes with a ring (which is made of icing except for the diamond) on top

I am a satisfied girl!

A fulfiling Saturday

This was very impromptu.

It was like 3pm and I have not had anything.
And we decided to grab lunch at Botak Jones (the one at Changhi Village).

So I ordered the beef burger and added friend egg, mushrooms and cheese.
At the end, my burger set cost like 15 bucks but it is definitely worth it!

And then dear ordered the Cajun chicken with mashed potatos and vegetable stew.

Feeling bored, we decided to make a trip to Ikea for its fried chicken wings..

The tray used to transport the food.

Swedish Meatballs...

A satisfied and fulfiling Saturday

Kyushu Fair

I am supposed to post these pictures long ago. Sigh...

This is one of the fairs that I am anticipating for.
You will know why later.

These are the items that we bought...

Fried Octopus

Scallops glutinous rice (they are the best especially when it is served piping hot) - I have been waiting for this to be here.

Grilled Scallops to go with the rice

Octopus

And of course, chocolate donut.

Yummy!
