Changi Nasi Lemak

Went to the famous Changi Village Nasi Lemak over the weekends. Ordered the otah set and added chicken wing. Cost a total of 5 bucks.

My Ramblings...

Vaguely remembered that the Changi Village nasi lemak was good. The queue was so long and we waited more than half an hour for our turn. Somehow everybody queueing before us ordered at least more than 5 packets...

On top of that, the stall gave preferential treatment to bus drivers at the Changi Bus Terminal based on the reasoning that they do not have time. And so, this particular bus driver (appeared to be a China national) ordered not one but two packets during a time span of 10 minutes. Somehow after he ordered, one of his friends asked me to help them as well.

I totally understand that bus drivers have limited meal breaks timing. But, I seriously do not understand the need to jump queue when there are so many other stalls available nearby. It is very ridiculous especially when he can just order two packets separately.

I came to a conclusion that the nasi lemak is normal and pricy and hence do not feel the need to queue up for more than half an hour and making myself upset for no reason.
