Winter Hokkaido (29 Jan to 7 Feb) - Part 2

We went to the Hokkaido Fair the following week to try out the food again.
This time around, we were more selective of the food we ordered - no creamy dishes, no rice dishes etc.

I must say we were more impressed with the food this time around.

My Ramblings...

Overall, we were so much more impressed with the food.

1. Curry Bun
It feels like having Japanese curry in a bun.
The bread is chewy and goes very well with the bun. Yummy.

2. Octopus Takoyaki
This is so much better as compared to the scallop takoyaki. At least there is a decent size of octopus in each takoyaki

3. Scallop Bun
This is sooo good. An interesting and delicious combination.

4. Potato Croquette
Nothing fancy, just pure potatoes

One thing that I am quite disappointed - did not manage to try the Hakodate Cheese Tarts. Still wondering how nice it would be...
