But, somehow I kept having the impression that I have blogged about this event.

We were invited to the 2011 World Gourmet Summit for the Spanish Gala Dinner Featuring The Cuisine of  David Muñoz & Ramón Freixa. David Munoz is a one star Michelin chef while Ramon Freixa is a two star Michelin chef.

Really looking forward to WGS every year.

This Spanish white wine is light and fruity.

This dish is paired with the wine above.
Dish layout
Second Dish - It is called Tomato Research - Tomato salad with olive oil – cold tomato soup, oyster tomato puff pastry and “jamon” – a whole smoked roast tomato.

I like this innovative tomato dish - one tomato cooked different ways bring out different flavours in it.
This dish is prepared by Ramon Freixa.
The speaker is Bodegas Torres Bruno Jimenez. He brought in the Torres wine that I liked.
Third dish - tuna belly braised in a charcoal smoked curry guanabana milk, black sesame and tomburi
This dish is prepared by David Munoz.
Fourth Dish - “the big duck burg”
duck hamburger, fine herb mustard, brown sugar ketchup, garlic bread slat
This dish is prepared by Ramon Freixa.
Fifth Dish - Black chocolate, green tea, passion fruit
This dish is prepared by David Munoz.

One word - Sour!
Sixth Dish - “the citrus fruits”
fresh citrus fruits, lemon custard cream, peanut sabayon tartlet, roasted banana
This dish is prepared by Ramon Freixa.
Petit fours Last but not least, the goodie bag... Was hoping for a bottle of wine though.
Can't wait for 2012 World Gourmet Summit!
