Ramen Keisuke - Tonkotsu King

Heard many reviews about this famous ramen at Orchid Hotel with long queues every lunch or dinner.
I just have to give it a try.

We went during weekday lunch at 11.45am.
Although we were second in line, it took approximately before we get our seats.
The place is very small with about 13 tables only.

This is like a designer ramen where you can choose how you want your ramen to taste like.

Let's begin with the ordering system.

Step 1: Decide on the ramen soup base

There are broadly three different types of ramen
1. Tonkotsu Ramen
2. Black Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (black pepper)
3. Red Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (chilli oil)

Step 2: Decide on the toppings

There are several options that you can choose from - no toppings; seaweed only ; flavoured egg only; all toppings.

Step 3 : Decide on the taste preference

You can select your preference for
1. Thickness of soup base
2. Chicken oil
3. Texture of noodles

Interior of the shop

This is the Tonkotsu rament with all toppings.
This restaurant serves free flow of hard boiled eggs and bean sprouts.
On the far right, there is sesame seeds where you can pound and put it in your ramen.

My Ramblings...
I would love to go again and try the other two other types of soup base.
This restaurant allows you to customize your desired ramen.
If you do not like the typical porky taste of the soup base, you can select the black spicy or red spicy.
If you like chicken oil, you can select more etc.
