CNY Dinner - Thai Village Seafood

We went for a quick bite while waiting for the rest to arrive for the CNY dinner.

Then, we went for our sumptuous CNY dinner at Thai Village Seafood. Have been patronizing this restaurant since young but have not tasted it like 8 years...

My Ramblings...

The sharkfin was so good. Cannot be compared with those served in restaurants. And, the sharkfin used are authentic ones. So you are paying for the quality of the sharkfin. If you want to learn how to tell the difference, this is the best place to begin with....

Overall, the food was very good. One interesting dish we ordered was crocodile fin. Was quite surprised at the way it tasted. I have tried crocodile meat at other restaurant before. Nothing fantastic but the fin was real good.

It was tangy, chewy and melts in your mouth. The texture is very gooey and it is a whole new experience although one piece may not be satisfying enough. However, having two pieces may be too much.

I would definitely come here again for my authentic dose of sharkfin.
